SHIFTS

Saturday 10am-6:30pm

Sunday 10am-5pm

Volunteers will need to show up at some point during setup hours on Friday (9-5) for a quick training in their respective positions.  All are welcome to stay to help with setup and swag bag stuffing, which will happen sometime in the afternoon. 

ROOM MODERATOR

  • 2 positions available. Each moderator will be responsible for the same room all weekend. 
     

  • Need folks who are comfortable introducing speakers and holding up “you’ve got this much time left” cards at the back of the room to keep things on schedule. The moderator is welcome to check the schedule and pick which room they would like to handle.
     

  • This is a seated position outside of speaking time.  

coat check/swag bags

  • 1-2 people. This will be pretty boring so rotating staff is fine if you'd like to trade off with a friend and catch sessions or explore. 
     

  • Great for folks who want a physical barrier between them and others. If you're representing a nonprofit, you're welcome to put out a tip jar or QR code and keep all tips. Coat check tags will be provided.

    The primary job is swag bag distribution/management and babysitting people’s stuff. Swag bags will be distributed to the first 300 weekend registrants and a list of names will be provided for the staff to check off, ensuring no duplicates. Staff may also be responsible for distributing prisms for the activity station, which involves removing them from their protective storage and placing them in their small bags. I haven’t decided if they’ll be included in the swag bags yet.

     

  • This is a standing position but a chair will be available for down time.

merch & prizes

  • 1-2 people. This will be pretty boring so rotating staff is fine if you'd like to trade off with a friend and catch sessions or explore. 
     

  • Staff the prize booth in the lounge. Most eggs will have small things like keychains but some will have a redeemable token for one of the oversized or high-value items at the prize booth.  Merch transactions will be cashless so all you'll need to do is point at the Venmo/Paypal QR codes. 
     

  • This is primarily a seated position.  Staff is welcome to hang out in the lounge as long as they're available to attend the booth when needed.
